Burlington in 2008
Congratulations to
all the members of the Burlington JCI Senate for an excellent
crew meeting last weekend. From the Friday welcome and
hospitality straight through to “Walking the Plank” Sunday we
enjoyed great food and wine, fellowship and received inspiration
from Karl Heibert. Burlington also has bragging rights as the
hosts of the largest crew meeting ever.
Please join me in congratulating President Paul Winger from
Kelowna and Vice President Al Murphy from Oshawa who were both
acclaimed at the annual meeting. Paul and Al were both Jaycees
together in Ontario so they have a history of working together
and will do an excellent job of leading the Senate in the coming
year.
Taking over the job as Webmaster will be a huge challenge for me
and I have a very tough act to follow. Congratulations Al on
your retirement (at least from this job) and I hope I can do
half as well as you have with the website.
Start saving now to attend the 2009 Canada JCI Senate Crew
Meeting for a one week cruise to Alaska aboard a Princess Cruise
Ship. Details will be posted shortly on this site together with
a registration form.
Please keep me informed of upcoming events hosted by Senate
groups or JCI Chapters and I will make sure they are posted on
this site. My e-mail is
