In 1968 we followed the birds to Vancouver Island as the Victoria Jaycees hosted the Canada Jaycees National Convention. We elected Russ Cooper as National President. The hosting committee included Brian Small, George Robbins, Eric Charman and Lorne Whyte among others.

Well friends...we have come full circle. In 2011, we will once again follow the birds to Vancouver Island where the Victoria JCI Senators will host the Crew Meeting. Russ Cooper 4638 has already registered for the Crew Meeting. The hosting committee includes Eric Charman 4216, Brian Small 6444, George Robbins 11230, Lorne Whyte 10937 among others.

Mark the dates May 19 to 22, 2011 on your calendar. We are being promised a Crew Meeting that will set a new watermark for our Annual Meeting. The group of Victoria Senators will be ready...right now all that is missing is you.

We picked up 25 registrations in Kingston...and we will sig up more people at the US JCI Senate Annual Meeting in Concord, California.

The Victoria Day long weekend festivities in Victoria make it the busiest weekend of the year and hotel rooms are at a premium. It is unlikely that ANY hotel in Greater Victoria will have rooms available for that weekend after December 1st of this year.
